Microsoft has recently launched a new trial to help businesses experience Microsoft 365 Copilot in just 30 days.

The conversation around AI has moved beyond potential. Organisations of all sizes are now looking for practical ways to understand how AI can improve productivity, streamline processes and unlock value across their business. The challenge for many SMEs is knowing where to start.

That is exactly what Microsoft’s new Copilot in 30 programme has been designed to solve.

Recently announced as generally available through Cloud Solution Provider partners, Copilot in 30 provides organisations with a structured, low-risk way to explore the value of Microsoft 365 Copilot before committing to full deployment. The programme combines a 25-user, 30-day Microsoft 365 Copilot Business trial with guidance, resources and use case support to help organisations evaluate AI in real-world scenarios. Available for organisations with fewer than 300 employees, the programme will run through to the 31st December 2026.

Turning AI curiosity into business outcomes

Many businesses recognise the opportunity presented by AI but struggle to identify the right use cases, determine where value can be realised quickest or understand how to prepare their environment for successful adoption.

Microsoft’s Copilot in 30 framework helps address these challenges by enabling organisations to:

  • Identify priority users and departments most likely to benefit from AI
  • Explore relevant business use cases
  • Assess productivity improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Gather user feedback and adoption insights
  • Build a business case for wider deployment based on real experiences

Microsoft has also announced a new customer evaluation tool that will provide industry-specific prompts and scenarios, allowing organisations to experience Copilot within the context of their day-to-day work.

Beyond the trial

The launch of Copilot in 30 reflects Microsoft’s wider focus on driving AI adoption within the SMB community. The initiative enables partners to deliver a repeatable approach to Copilot adoption while helping customers build confidence through hands-on experience.

For businesses, this creates an opportunity to evaluate AI without the complexity often associated with large-scale technology projects.
