As I look out of the office window today, into a grey, wet landscape, I’m reminded of the brightness of the message shared at HPE Discover Barcelona 2025.
The Convergence of Aruba and Juniper: A New Era of Intelligent Networking
During the keynote, Antonio Neri laid out a clear vision, and that was the convergence of Aruba and Juniper Networking isn’t just about products; it’s about modernising networks across campuses, professional services, and manufacturing, and the future is looking brighter than ever.
HPE are hard at work blending Aruba’s intuitive analytics with Juniper’s AI-powered Mist platform, so that organisations of all sizes are finally able to gain access to self-driving networks, predictive insights, and seamless connectivity.
Having designed, specified, and supported some of the largest campus networks in the UK, alongside highly complex smaller environments, I can say with confidence that networks are becoming smarter, more resilient, and increasingly agile. If HPE’s vision comes to fruition, we are entering a new era of networking sophistication.
In my role as the Chief Enterprise Architect, I engage with clients across industries and scales. From these engagements, it is clear that professional services environments are becoming more collaborative, manufacturing floors are accelerating toward Industry 4.0 readiness, and always-on, intelligent networks are no longer optional. Conversations about future-state machine learning have rapidly shifted into practical deployments of artificial intelligence, technology leveraged for tangible business benefit, not novelty.
Gone are the days of conversations about future states and the prospects of machine learning, in the blink of an eye, it seems they have learnt, and it’s now Artificial Intelligence and how do we leverage it for the benefit of all, not just because it’s a new technology.
